JESUS HAS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!
Our long Lent is over. Today we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from the grave. We
thank Jesus because His victory gives us victory over the grave. Today make a
Easter garden using a pot or some other container. Watch the video below on how

Old Testament – Isaiah 25:6-9
Isaiah tells of a coming time when the Lord of Hosts will defeat death for all time.
The Lord will prepare a feast for everyone on earth so they can celebrate. The
Lord will wipe away all tears from everyone’s eyes.
Old Testament – Psalm 118
Psalm 118 is a song of celebration. It sings of a time when the writer was
struggling and God pulled him out of his troubles. He is rejoicing and thanking
God. Listen to Psalm 118 sung in its original language, Hebrew.
New Testament – 1 Corinthians 15:1-11
Paul speaks of those who saw Jesus after Jesus had been raised from the dead.
Paul reminds his readers that Jesus appeared alive to over 500 people after His
resurrection. Paul reminds us that we too will be resurrected from the dead and
see Jesus face to face.
New Testament – Mark 16:1-8
Mary Magdalene, Mary His mother, and Salome went to Jesus’ tomb. They found
the stone rolled away and Jesus’ body is gone. An angel appears and tells them
Jesus has risen from the dead. The angel tells them to go to the disciples and say
that Jesus has gone to Galilee and to meet Him there.

Nuestra larga Cuaresma ha terminado. Hoy celebramos la resurreccion de Jesus
de la tumba. Agradecemos a Jesus porque Su Victoria nos da la Victoria sobre la

Viejo Testamento – Isaias 25:6-9

muerte para siempre. El Senor preparara una fiesta para que todos puedan
celebrar.

El Salmo 118 es un canto de celebracion. Canta sobre una epoca en la que el
escritor estaba luchando y Dios lo saco de sus problemas. Se regocija y agradece
a Dios. Escuche el Salmo 118 cantado en su idioma original, hebreo.
Nuevo Testamento – Libro de 1 Corintios
Pablo habla de aquellos que vieron a Jesus despues de que Jesus habia resucitado
de entre los muertos. Pablo les recuerda a sus lectores que Jesus aparecio vivo a
mas de 500 personas despues de su resurreccion. Pablo tambien nos recuerda
que nosotros tambien resucitaremos con Jesus y lo veremos cara a cara.
Nuevo Testamento – Evangelio de Marcos 16:1-8
Maria Madgalena, Maria Su madre y Salome fueron a la tumba de Jesus.
Encontraton que la piedra habio sido removida y el cuerpo de Jesus habia
desaparecido. Aparece un angel y les dice que vayan a los discipulos y les digan
que Jesus ha ido a Galilea y que lo encuentren alli.
