Matthew 1: 18-25 explains how the birth of Jesus the Messiah took place.
Mary was not the only one visited by angels in advance of Jesus’ birth. In this story, God sends an angel to prepare Joseph for his very special role in the Christmas story. Ultimately, Joseph accepts Jesus as his son.
Gospel Luke 2: 1-20
In order to keep Mary away from public disgrace Joseph took to her to the City of David called Bethlehem. Since there was no place for them in the inn, Jesus was was wrapped in cloth and set in a manger after his birth.

In the same region as Mary, Joseph and Jesus there were Shepherds living in the fields. The Shepherds came to see the Messiah and when they left they returned, glorifying and praising God.
An angel also visited Mary, Joseph and Jesus. The angle said to them "to you is born this day is the City of David a Savior, whois the Messiah, the Lord...Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!" Whne the angle left Mary treasured what the angle said and kept the words close to her heart.
